Clayton Mark

From chicken-wire stages and barn dances to the historic heights of Massey Hall in Toronto and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Clayton Mark has spent two decades as one of Canada’s most versatile multi-instrumentalists. A master of the Telecaster, Dobro, and pedal steel, he has performed at North America’s largest festivals and world-famous honky-tonks. His career serves as a vital bridge between the pioneers of country music and the genre’s modern superstars.

I’m fascinated by the heritage and engineering of brands like Sho-Bud, and that technical understanding directly fuels my expression on stage and in the studio. Currently, I just went coast to coast playing steel with Carroll Baker and am also currently working a series of new studio sessions and tracking steel for several upcoming records.
