Die Hard Sho-Bud Collector

Bio

Sho-Bud and the history of the pedal steel guitars run deep in my veins. Learning to play lap steel as a child and then being introduced to Shot in the 70s on Broadway by my grandfather. Then diving headfirst into the research and location of all the most musically significant Sho-Bud Pedal Steel Guitars it has become one of my most passionate endeavors. I currently proudly own 3 of the 6 Jimmy Day Blue Darlin’ guitars and have located all but one of them. I chose to make my living as a mechanical engineer and often wish I had stayed on my musical journey but feel blessed to have been welcomed into the circle that makes Sho-Bud so special. I may never play the stage like most of my musician friends but know that my heart is through and through true to Sho-Bud.
