Bio
Multi-instrumentalist: formally trained on accordion (1st-7th grade) and started playing mandolin & harmonica in H.S. Picked up the pedal steel guitar in 1975 after growing up on 60’s Buck Owens & Wynn Stewart, Porter Wagoner, George Jones & Tammy Wynette (classic country) The rebel side of me appreciated Gram Parson, Neil Young, Poco, Marshall Tucker Band, Flying Burrito Bros, Waylon & Willie, DAC and other country & southern rock groups. I have great lead/harmony vocals and pro equipment.
Influences: You name it! I enjoy MOST all types of music & genre. I have played with groups including Southern Gospel productions, classic country productions such as “Always….Patsy Cline”, country-rock venues, along with gospel bluegrass to Contemporary Christian music on our worship team at church. Minnesota Gospel Opry member and musician for 6 years. I also enjoy alternative stuff heard on Cities97. My dear Uncle Vern (97yoa) is responsible for me playing steel guitar during family get together’s. He plays a Gibson Console Grande and Fry-Pan.
